Abstract

TiO 2 wheat like arrays were prepared by anodizing a sputter ed Ti membrane. T he current time curves show the growing process of TiO 2 arrays, in which the controllable growth technique is studied for obtain ing a satisfied product. Then TiO2 wheat like arra ys were applied in dye sensitized solar cells DSSCs and the photovoltaic performance of DSSC with different film thickness were investigated . T he results show that the short circuit current density (Jsc and the total energy conversion efficiency (η) inc rease but th e fill factor (FF) decrease as the increase of the film thicknes , which could be attribute d to the increase of the specific surface areas and the increase of electron loss es by the increase of film thickness, respectively..
