Abstract

Efficient multilayered high yellow polymer light emitting devices were successfully fabricated using a solution processed n doped small molecular electron transporting layer composed of 1,3,5 tris(N phenyl benzimidazol 2 yl) benzene (TPBi) and Cs 2 CO 3 . We found that the electroluminescence properties of the devices with Cs 2 CO 3 doped TPBi electron transport layers (ETL) are significantly improved. The maximum luminance eff iciency of the device with Cs 2 CO 3 doped TPBi ETL reached 6.7 cd/A, which is 20% higher as that of the undoped device. These results demonstrate that Cs 2 CO 3 can be used as an effective n dopant in solution processed devices..
