Abstract
Mono dispersed cubic nano ZnS powders have been successfully prepared by using thioacetamide (CH3CSNH2) as source
of S2-. The use of Na2S as sintering agent allows to lower the sintering temperature and to keep the cubic structure, leading
to hot pressing sintered ZnS ceramics with approximately the theoretical density. The morphology and optical properties of
the sintered ceramics have been studied.
