Abstract

We report investigations by fluorescencense and infra-red absorption spectroscopy of some dental restorative materials. We obtained the weight of the chemical elements comprised in the inorganic matrix which represents the base compound for dental materials. From the IR spectra we concluded that all the investigated materials have a band corresponding to the silica anion.
