Abstract
Inclusion of the intermediate field-free region to the ionization-acceleration zone of the double field system was considered.
The region improves the mass resolution and the mass resolution further increases with the enlargement of this region.
However, the reduction of the electric field increases with the enlargement that needs to be taken into account since this
reduction can appear as a signal to noise ratio difficulty due to particle energy decreasing.
