Abstract

Tin-containing calcium titanate materials have attracted much attention since they can reduce the exciton binding energy and increase the carrier mobility of their related compounds. Eu-doped CaTi0.995Sn0.005O3 ceramics were synthesized by a solid-state reaction. The structure and dielectric properties of the materials were characterized by X-ray diffractometer, SEM, and LCR meter; while the optical properties of the materials were characterized by Raman, UV-VIS, and fluorescence spectroscopy. The results show that the dielectric constant, dielectric loss, absorbance, and luminescence intensity increase with the increase of the rare earth metal doping concentration.
