Camouflage net efficiency represents the ability of the net to diminish the detection range of the target. In the paper is developed a theoretical method for the evaluation of the camouflage efficiency. The proposed method was applied to three different camouflage nets and the detection range was estimated by using a thermal camera operating in the wavelength band 8 - 12 μm.
