        Abstract
        Proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFC) are studied intensive for hydrogen – oxygen couple conversion into electrical power via electro-chemical process. Electrocatalyst performances (defined by specific area and catalytic activity) represent a key point for hydrogen oxidation – anode reaction. Pt is a representative catalyst in these applications, but it has a few drawbacks, such as CO poisoning. The present work is focused on the study of catalytic activity of nanometric Iron (Fe) - Nickel (Ni) couple deposited on TiO2 / SiO2 materials..
